Joe has been transplanted in Texas from the Midwest and most recently Nashville, Tennessee and quickly adopted the love and culture of Texas. He brings 20+ years of hospitality and travel industry expertise to the Ranch. Having spent time in the Convention and Visitors Bureau industry in Kansas City, and in sales and operations with Gaylord and Hilton brand hotels, as well as Expedia, Joe offers proven customer service excellence. His wife Sheri, a Southwest Airlines 20-year veteran, shares his enthusiasm for the hospitality and travel industry. He appreciates the history and rich western culture of Fort Worth and the Stockyards and what it symbolizes for America.
Diana was born in Michigan, but has luckily been converted into a devoted Texan in her 15 years here. She is an active member of the Legends of Texas, where she dresses in period clothing to share the history of the Old West with visitors to Fort Worth. Diana takes an active role in the preservation and future development of the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. She has a passion for photography, and helping make River Ranch Stockyards the authentic destination you see today.
Nick is from the small west Texas town of Idalou, east of Lubbock. Raised around livestock and the western lifestyle, in his younger years Nick became involved in FFA, participating in livestock shows and junior rodeos. From raising of livestock, judging livestock, and various rodeo events Nick stays true to his cowboy roots. He later attended college in Lubbock studying agricultural economics before meeting his wife Nicole at Texas Tech then moving to north Fort Worth in 2015.
Tifani has been with the River Ranch Stockyards team since 2013, working her way from bartender to administrative assistant, bar manager and event sales. She brings over 6 years of experience in the administrative field and 19 years in the hospitality industry including bartending, bar management, and front of house management. Tifani is dedicated to continuous improvement, experienced in working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and ready to receive guests with a warm Texas welcome.
With a degree in communications from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!), Ashlee brings 16 years experience in public relations, advertising, events and tourism. She honed her skills at the two largest global trade show and events companies – GES and Freeman Decorating Company and spent several years in tourism sales at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau. Ashlee heads up the sales team, marketing, advertising, development and livestock programs for River Ranch Stockyards. Her family is rooted in Texas and rodeo, operating Double R Rodeo Company, started in 1938 by Roland Reid and standing as the oldest continuously running rodeo company in the state of Texas. Outside of the Ranch, her time is spent “next door” helping her family with weekly stock production of the Stockyards Championship Rodeo and Billy Bob’s Texas Bull Riding Show and many private livestock events.
Joe is a Fort Worth native who has worked for some of the top chefs in the city. His past culinary experiences include Reata, Magdalenas, and the Ashton Hotel. With over 13 years in the industry, he has had the opportunity to learn from Lou Lambert, Gabriel Ochoa, and Juan Rodriguez. Joe’s incredible culinary talents led him to a career with River Ranch Stockyards in early 2016. Joe’s passion lies in creating fine Texas Cuisine with Spanish influences. He is known for his incredible flavors and outstanding culinary execution.
